I grew up in a small town where the industry died and left and there was no opportunity for people to get a good job and earn a good living for themselves. So inevitably there is a lot of crime and break ins as people are bored and desperate.
A few years ago people kept trying to break into my grandmas house so I made these fake home security stickers to put into the windows because a friend told me it worked to keep burglars out. I'm happy to report we've had no break in attempts since.
