Christmas time and baking is combined, most of us do some some baking around this time of the year, especially our family since we are having way too much birthday within the winter months.
This time while we were preparing the ingredients to bake the cake our handmixer we were using to beat up the foam crashed. The main problem we lack of hand tool to do the process, therefor i had to find a sollution.
I have a tool which is only 7 years younger than me, but still serving me without questions. It is a Makita 6015D cordless drill. The battery have to be replaced at least once, maybe twice already (i remember only one) but besides that, and some external marks of the time it’s do what it needs to.
Well i’m a fan of Makita tools, i use them for gardening aswell, and i’m satisfied with them too, but that’s clear this old model is much more capable of resisting the iron teeth of time.
Lessons learned: Hand tools are needed! (mostly to decorate the wall, but occasionly to replace the machines)
I’ve never beaten up a foam by hand and as i heared it’s not that easy as using a mixer. But tomorrow i’m gonna get a whisk beside a new mixer, just in case to have one, and ofc to try out making a foam by hands at least once. :)
