Abel did the Right Thing
Day 1 The word LAW
Most of us wake up in the morning and our thoughts revolved around the decisions we need to make for the day. Here is a simple word which reminds us we can be capable, effective, and efficient each and every day. The word LAW.
Law = In order to have a country, there must be a law that is written for the nation to operate or function in. All countries are built on law to produce a constitution. A constitution consists of rights, privileges, and promises for the citizens of the country. The greatest thing a country can give a person is citizenship because it gives a legal status, rights (authorization), and power to demand the citizens' rights. That's the reason our passport is the most powerful document in our country. In the passport, it is written that this document belongs to the government. Well, we belong to God and we are citizens of the kingdom of God (new government), and we have a contract or the Bible as our Constitution that gives us the power to exercise our rights to receive the promises. We belong to our Father in heaven, which is a country with a government. Jesus our king, which is the truth or word. The Holy Spirit, which is grace, empowers and gives us the ability to follow the path of righteousness. We are under the grace, which is the Holy Spirit to bring us in right positioning with God to receive all the privileges, benefits, commonwealth, rights of the kingdom of God as a citizen to live and to enforce what is right in God's eyes.
Abel = We have all been instructed by the Lord because He put it in our hearts and mind. In Genesis, Abel presented the right sacrifice (the blood of the lamb) and he did what was right in God's eyes. Cain believes in his own mind that God wanted his sacrifice of fruits, and believe it was better than Abel's sacrifice. Being right is more important than faith (believing). Many people believe in different things, but not necessarily do the right thing. For example, before I left the house, I have instructed the maid to wash the dishes in the sink. While I was gone, the maid cleaned the kitchen floor, she dusted and cleaned all the appliances like the refrigerator, the stove, the microwave, and the whole kitchen was sparkling cleaned and organized. Two hours later, I was so amazed and I have never seen the kitchen so cleaned that I realized and noticed the dishes were left undone. She did a good thing and believe what she wanted to believe, but she did not do the right thing. Make sure, we believe on the right information. Get right with the Lord!
Wait = According to Isaiah, those who wait (expect in Greek) on the Lord (owner) will renew their strength; they will soar or mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not be weary and they will walk and not be faint. If we are going to expect or wait, then we might as well, think "BIG." If we asked for a glass of water, then that's what we will have. However, if we asked for swimming pool of water, then that's what we will get. Now, we run for the prize like an athlete, and we walk by faith (our conviction and what we believe) to receive what we have petition or prayed for. When we do receive the promise, we will gain renewed strength, and soar on wings like eagles because we are so happy we feel like floating in the air and the wait was worth it and gives us more strength to have faith in God. Jesus is Lord! Ask, Seek and Knock!
