A similar dynamic here too. Usually, it's the older generation that tries to guide the younger generation in the right way based on their own point of view. But the world has indeed changed from the past way of thinking and doing and will probably continue to change well into the future. For me, I just want to maintain my personal agency as much as possible, be flexible and adaptable but my mom thinks otherwise, she sees it as a fluffy flimsy character :D
