Self hate is the flip side of self love. When we say we hate ourselves we mean that we hate our identity.i.e. we hate who we think we are! And the only thing that stops us from living life to the fullest and with compassion is that we are still caught up in who we think we are OR who we once used to be OR who we even had the potential to be but were not.
Our self hate is ofter guilt in hiding for what we have already done and we regret who you were before.
We see the potential that we have but we often become fed up with who we are or what we are. Ways to overcome self hate are:
- USE POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS: They help in changing the way we think like i am not who i once was and i am not not what i was yesterday.
2)FORGIVE YOURSELF: Forgive yourself for all the mistakes you think you have done. If we learn to forgive and move on, the mind stops attaching to the past.
