San Phra Phum is the Thai language. It means shrine of the household gods or spirits.
San Phra Phum is considered as one of the sacred things in the house or building that people in the house or in the building must respect.
According to our belief, they will protect us or our house or building from any danger.
We also believe that they will give our whole family members or all of our staffs in the company happiness and prosperity as well.
If you visit Thailand, you will see San Phra Phum in front of almost every house and buildings.
San Phra Phum that I show you today is located at Lotus Supermarket.
There are various kinds of sacred things in this area; i.e.
the shrine of gods….
The shrine of spirits…
The Nagas….
As to ask for their blessing, we worship them with various kinds of things;
Gorgeous flowers, beautiful garlands, some food, some fruits, drinks (red), water,
Some kinds of animals in various sizes, i.e. zebras, Singha, elephants, cocks, swans, etc.
The surrounding nature is nice with beautiful lotus flowers and wonderful huge trees. The blue sky and white clouds are so great.
I asked the Gods, the Spirits, and the Nagas in and around San Phra Phum for giving me, my family, and my friends here a happy and prosperous New Year….
Happy New Year to all of you! ;)))
