good day folks! :)
not been blogging as regular as usual the last day or so because i have my daughter staying with me so i it's quality hugs, some gaming (so i lose my computer!) and yesterday evening pizza making, as you can see from the photos we had a blast and got into a bit of a mess to start with making the dough because it was hot in the van and the dough kept sticking to our hands even thou we had plenty of flour. it's all good fun thou.
it's interesting how ella transforms when she's outside as well when we are making pizza because she starts to engage in nature a lot more, she made herself a staff with leaves like one of the characters in the paladins game we play, she makes me smile when she does things like that, playing around in the feel living out her imagination, i know it's going to be one of the memories she grows up with spending time with dad at the van, we have done it for many years, it's a concrete memory!
also love taking photos in 'golden hour' and nothing like taking fresh over pizza out of the uuni and eating it while it's piping hot, ellas was a lot better than mine and cooked so much better, i've still not found a way to really get a better base on the pizza, i really need to find a way to foil the bottom of the pizza over so we can crisp up the base as well, folding it into a kinda pie made it nicer this time around but certainly room for improvement.
i certainly prefer having bella back to back over two days at the end of the week like this, makes it easier to plan the rest of the week, have the rest of saturday to do anything admin wise and then start my working day ahead of the usual working week on the sunday so i have four solid days to work on my own projects and clients before we do the the whole thing all over again.
week two was a bit of an attention bust but i did get some other income streams going which seem to be going well so i can't be too mad, it should equalise out over the coming weeks, kinda still wish i had the three hour course up, it's a thorn in my side right now, again, i'm working on it. it's a permanent work in progress! :) me and gave ourselves a six week window to really push at the resources we have and see what position we are in at the end of the six week holiday.
certainly need to make moves on the transport situation, probably not a great time of the year to be looking at vans because the price might be high with the 'last minute' people wanting to get a camper van to head away and spend time travelling and camping across summer. i need to replace my smart with a van anyway at some point to make the six month windows with dayle easier and to allow us to achieve what we want to do over the coming years.
pleased that one of the 'punts' that i took a bit of a risk on last week is finally paying off tomorrow, means everything else is profit from now on until the site vanishes (which let's be honest, it will!) it was a bit of a gamble on a whime but the way i look at it was that i never had it before anyway so while the signs look good i'll start to move towards measured investments and start to save towards the bigger goals rather than just the short term survival hacks i've been living with for the last few years.
right, time to get the daily walk in, combine it with a visit to the shop in the process so i can make dinner when we get back, weather is overcast but warm today so i'm looking to spend as much time outdoors as possible soaking up that vitamin d. keeps me on a level! :)
hope you have a lovely day wherever you are in the world. how do you spend your time on friday evenings and into the weekend? anything special planned?
