So this morning I had to wake up earlier than usual (at about 5:29am) so we'd get to be amongst the first ones to buy fuel (PMS) at the filling station.
Only to be dismayed by the number of vehicles in queue on getting there by 6:10am after the 007 driving skills and short cuts we used to get there ( I just weak).
The strange part was, everyone on the queue was there in the hopes that sale will commence, there was no real assurance at all
Funnily enough, as at 10:30 am this morning the possibility of sales was still bleak.. The "oga at the top" had not given the go ahead order for selling to begin.
Eventually, "black marketers" chop the money at 350naira per litre (with begging o).
1, 2
As if that wasn't enough, the queue ups at ATMs and Banking halls are sickening
Certain banks (if not all) had put a limit on the amount of cash withdrawable per customer, this is just ridiculous!
Just how long do we have to endure/tolerate a succession of incompetent government?
Well, I'm hopeful things like this won't keep reoccuring yearly, thanks to the crypto innovative revolution (that cannot be stopped).
here, having a heck of a day, but not derailed.
