Isn't that the nature of life? We intend to accomplish certain things and plans just don't always go as planned. I think it was someone on HIVE that I read it from first, the plan never survives contact with the enemy. As such, while I didn't get to post as I'd planned I would've been very happy to launch our memecoin project today...
But alas, we faced another hiccup.
The Partnered Exchange Pushed The Date Back
The following message is a verbatim quote taken from a Telegram I have with our partner.
Of course, understandable, like you, im also quite disappointed and sad that it didnt launch sooner, but with legal and compliance issues that we had to face, it had to be done :(
Mainnet phase 1, the idea is to get infra projects and projects without token emission.
Supposedly, it will take 10 days, but realistically, it will be most likely 2nd week of april.
I mean, who could've expected that? While we were racing to meet our own deadlines: preparing the website, finalizing the whitepaper, and reviewing our token mascot and logo- the blockchain code was simply not ready to launch.
So What Now?
Well, for one, we're not launch today, anymore. In addition, the team has some time to do a couple things. The boys are going back and forth about the logo, but they're missing a bigger picture. I want them to let the illustrators illustrate, so we can focus on business. Our product will be content largely, with more becoming available the more holders possess in terms of stake. So someone will have to champion that cause, that is, write content until their fingers wear down to the bone. I exaggerate for dramatic effect and to highlight, the responsibility will most likely be mine. How fortunate, right? Such is the life of a founder.
We have no choice but to wait for the date, but I plan to do a couple things to make use of the extra time given to us.
A Few Things
For starters, I plan to open up the initial presale to 150 people. We're presently at 84, and I throw a mention here and there to anyone I know who might bite. Secondly, I aim to let the first cohort know who we're working with, because we promised a date, but I don't really like the excuse our partner gave us. I was personally excited to ape into my own project, and I've been denied that privilege. Lastly, I think that I'll do some outreach to see who I can involve outside the project and memecoin, to bring value to it. It's going to be a long road, but I'm excited to walk it. So, with that said, if you're interested in my memecoin presale, feel free to join the Telegram.
