A dim blue speck in the vast cosmos, thats where we live.
Every person you've heard of, conqueror's like Alexander and Napolean, scientists such as Einstein and Newton and leaders such as Gandhi and Lincoln, have all lived and died on this tiny ball of dust. Their lives, no matter how great of zero significance to the universe. The entire human history spans a mere 25000 years. Just a blink of an eye, if compared to the age of the Universe.
So that is it right ? Our lives are nothing but worthless ?
No, that isn't the case.
You see, we are special, because we are the only things that can experience the beauty of all that surrounds us. As far as we know, from a list billions of planets, life has occured only once in the universe, and thats here on Earth. The human race is the only intelligent species to ever exist in 13.8 billion years of the universe. We are special. Perhaps, the most special creation of our cosmos.
Its time we stopped fighting each other for mere boundaries and came together to marvel the vastness of everything surrounding us. Our lives are significant because we, each one of us, will be a stepping stone for our species' future.
