Being A Tourist In San Francisco - Part Two
Hello again my Steemit Friends!!
Welcome to another edition of Being a Tourist in San Francisco.
We hope you enjoyed the last edition on Fisherman’s Wharf, if you haven’t checked it out what are you thinking?
Jokes aside, we hope it gives you a small idea of how great that area of San Francisco can be.
Lombard Street
Welcome to Lombard Street also known as “the most crooked street in the world."
This one block section of Lombard St. has to be one of the most famous streets around.
One of the many beautiful homes situated on this iconic street, just take the stairs that runs along the street to get a safe view of all the homes aligned on each side.
Don’t worry this isn’t the staircase.
This one is located just around the corner from Lombard St. (the stairs can be steep at both locations).
Amazing view from the top of Lombard Street looking down on the city.
Coit Tower, which was built in 1933, can be seen in the background of photograph.
Chinatown
Pop quiz…
Where is the oldest Chinatown in North America located?
That’s right…right here in San Francisco.
Established in 1848 it is also the 2nd largest Chinatown in North America.

The best Dim Sum restaurants in San Francisco located in this area.
Take a look at the architectural detail of this building.
It’s safe to say you don’t see this just anywhere.
Yeah, that’s me being stupid.
Plenty of shops to explore such as this one as you walk around the area.
Ghirardelli Square
Ghirardelli Square, home of the Original Ghirardelli Ice Cream & Chocolate shop.
Don’t miss out on the Ghirardelli Hot Fudge Sundaes and other chocolaty treats.
You know you have arrived when you see the big blue G that is illuminated when it starts to get dark.
The square faces the Pacific Ocean and the beach you saw in the Fisherman’s Wharf Edition article.
Have a cold one at the SF Brewing Co. Beer Garden.
During the day light hours they have umbrella’s set up to protect you from the sun.
Plus, they have oversized Jenga blocks set up on the platform.
What more could you want?
Thanks you guys so much for the support and stay tuned for more to come!!!
