As I was looking around my vicinity today I discovered that there was lack of trees, so I decided to take the picture below.

People have gradually destroyed their homes by deforestation and dumping of refuse indiscriminately. In this article I want to discuss this two environmental menace.
What are the economic importance of trees?
Trees contribute greatly to our surroundings by providing oxygen, improves our air quality, they serve as shed when there is heavy breeze, conserving water, prevention of erosion, pollination. Tree also produce the oxygen we breathe through the process of photosynthesis.
So take a look at the things I listed above, then you will see what an environment without trees is lacking.
Another thing I want to discuss is dumping of refuse indiscriminately. Just look at this picture below

No one can cheat the nature they said, nature has it's own way of reprisal, one day the refuse you see at the imagine above will fight back either by flowing water depositing it at people's front or through another denudation agent. In fact that refuse is a source of sicknesses to anyone living around that place.
