- it sure is tough (initially) - but our mind is like a computer. I agree that a damaged mind cannot easily convert negative thoughts into positive ones - I tried to in my depressive states and it resulted in 'guilt' as I didn't believe those positive words or thoughts. So the process of believing those words at our core, by firstly going through the realisation journey of knowing what our barriers are in the first place and how they formed, is how one is able to begin to understand and therefore be a master of their mind, rather than their mind mastering them.
It's a difficult process yes, but we are all equipped to go through our journey's and reach a stage of mastery. Just like any career or skill, it is something that needs to be practiced daily and there is no 'easy' way, although there are lots of different paths.
