Thank you , you are so correct, society norms and the emphasis of materialism makes it difficult to break away from not comparing ourselves. Like you stated "there will always be someone who has more than you, so it a comparison that you will always fail", hopefully this will make some feel comfortable in knowing that comparing one's self is not worth it. I will always have something that someone else may not have, and there will always be something that someone else possess that I may not.
