That was a statement our client told us after a meeting on a public holiday which was not observed by our current company, sooo we were working while most people are enjoying thier off day.😅
After the meeting ended we had some chat and at the end before leaving he told us to get the relevant experience and licenses and to open our own company.
He told us "haven't you heard? You can't be rich working for someone" and share with us that some of his friend open thier own company at age 45 and are doing very well.
Well, bosses especially local company, are more calculative and show less care and appreciation towards thier employees.
All the profits earned are majorly distributed to shareholders/owners first before any distribution of bonus to employees.
Some company even go to the extreme to only distribute bonus more than half year later after share of profit has been declared to shareholders. And basing on complex kpi scheme that only the bosses they themselves know if the calculation is right or wrong so you could never argue with them your entitlement. To me as long as i do my best, the company would know how i have performed and reward me accordingly.
An unfair working life right? No doubts return to shareholders is important but wellfare and interest of your employees is also equally important. If there is no employees you would not be able to run and expand your business too.
Would you be your own bos?
Thanks for stopping by.
