Happy Birthday to me! š„³
Iāve been celebrating my birthday since this past weekend so if it seems like I was dragging my feet these past few days then thatās why. I planned a small gathering and went bouldering with friends. It was so fun! We were goofing off the whole time so I laughed until my stomach hurt and I flew up the walls so quickly that my muscles are still sore today. I took a bunch of videos so Iāll have to organize the footage to share in a later post.
I was gifted a couple of thoughtful presents and it was totally unexpected! I usually donāt ask for presents so I felt very loved. I was handed a small bag with a picture of a kid picking his nose. I laughed when I saw the writing which read, āI picked this gift just for you.ā I thought the bag was a good enough surprise but was blown away when I unwrapped a raging Retsuko pin from anime series Aggretsuko. Iāve been wanting one of these! Then I had another friend gift me a cute little backpack filled with goodies. Yes! I freaking love chocolate and pandan flavored cake!
Now you might be wondering where the flowers came from. I had a friend from Chicago who had hoped to surprise me with them. He felt bad that he wasnāt able to make the drive to Minneapolis for my party so he came up with this great idea to send a bouquet to the bouldering place. Unfortunately things didnāt go as planned. There was a lack of communication so I had no idea I was even getting flowers so the delivery guy couldnāt contact me so the flowers were left in the back office of the bouldering place. I ended up picking them up the next day so it was fine. Hopefully heās able to make it out next year, maybe even with
