Man is born and society corrupts him

Since I was very young I heard this phrase, which was always present, not because it was the great thing, it is perhaps due to the fact that it is a reality, everyone at birth we are influenced by our environment, by the culture in which we are brought up and society is guiding us along a path where we are always looking for ways to adapt.

This phrase is attributed to the philosopher Jean Jacques Rousseau (1712-1778). The truth is that I did not know who it was until the university, his concept is based on the fact that man is born good and society makes him bad leaving everything behind, taking into account that when he is born he does it in a pure way.
