"Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise." This was in the book of Proverbs, chapter 6 and verse 6 of the Holy Bible. Why did the Bible ask us to take a leaf from these small creatures with no apparent strength or life goals?
These small creatures with no apparent strength or life goals actually have admirable traits, traits we're going to be looking at in this post.
1. Ants Are United.
Ants come together often to do things like carrying (bigger) dead insects into their ant holes. Alone, they achieve hardly anything but together, ants have the capability to kill a snake.
We humans should learn to stand united, everything becomes easier when we do.
2. Ants Never Give Up.
Have you ever seen an ant moving towards a certain direction? Place your palm on the floor to deter it and watch this little creature find its way past your palm. Keep trying to discourage it, it won't stop searching for a way. At a time, it attempts to even climb that palm and keep moving.
This is another trait we should pick from ants. Keep moving, don't stop!
3. Ants Save Up For The Rainy Day.
Carrying dead insects into their ant holes is something I made mention of earlier.
We should learn to not be extravagant. Take what you can and stack up some more in your reserve, save some more for the rainy day.
4. Ants Have Mutual Respect.
When two colonies of ants meet on a slim 'road', watch how they act. One colony either waits for the other one to pass first or the ants wait individually, not withstanding colony sizes or individual sizes.
When we humans think we're better than someone, we tend to look down on them. We should learn to show respect to all men, irrespective of factors like who's more accomplished and the rest of them.
