All human beings at some point in our lives we have felt alone, which for many is something temporary that can happen for some event that has arisen, however for others it is a lifestyle.
But what is loneliness? Loneliness is just an emotional state and social isolation that can significantly affect the mental and physical health of a person, is the lack of relationships linked to states of sadness, anguish, depression and negativity.
The human being is programmed to be social, has the need to feel accompanied and connected with other people, those who choose to be solitary will always have negative effects on their lives such as:
• Distortion of reality: when a person is sociable he usually talks to other people and exchange ideas with each other, if on the other hand the person is not sociable and lacks information, he runs the risk of building his own ideas with a distorted vision of the world.
• Change of character: Another negative effect of loneliness is that it leads to anger and resentment, due to lack of affection with other people.
• Depression: when a person loses energy and pleasure from activities, in addition to being too inactive, isolated and very different from others is a lonely person who may be suffering from depression.
In conclusion loneliness is not and will never be good company, lonely people have to try to face this problem, exploit their skills so that in this way to establish good bonds of friendship and thus find a way out of such isolation.
