COSPLAY
A contraction of the words "costume - play", is a hobby in which participants called cosplayers wear costumes and fashion accessories to represent a specific character.
The term "cosplay" was coined in Japan in 1984. It was inspired by and grew out of the practice then-known as fan costuming at science fiction conventions, beginning with the 1st World Science Fiction Convention in New York City in 1939.

Oh yes, that's me. That was around 2015. Aside from my work & blogging here at Steem, i also love Cosplaying. I started cosplaying 5 years ago, when i passed by at a mall after work. I'm naturally shy & has low self esteem, but i really love Anime & Manga, well you can say everything Japanese. Their culture is amazing! For such a small country to have that rich heritage & an immense spectrum of art styles, i got hooked & really intrigued by their customs & traditions. @u@
I have cosplayed around 10+ characters as of now, planning for another one this year or maybe early 2018. I miss my cosfriends, especially the colorful, fun, & diverse community.
