Long time ago , women's role is to just stay at home , do the chores, take care of the kids and be a wife to his husband . But in 20th century, it was said that the right of a woman for education and job oppurtunities was implemented.
In today's generation , women are seen to have equal power with men. Women are able to do and experience what men can . But so as men, they can also do and experience almost everything that women can.
But still, there are things/experiences that only women can possibly have, but men cannot. Let me share to you those that i know of
HAVING MENSTRUAL PERIOD
Certainly women are the ones experiencing this monthly visitor but definitely a no to men. Women experience pains , dysmenhorrea , having bruises as well and having to wear sanitary napkins which is so irritable sometimes (this one can be tried by men if they want to wear one, LOL
PREGNANCY and GIVING BIRTH
Women are the only ones created by God to bear a child for 9 months and give him life by giving birth , These experiences are both painful , but all worth it , once you held your child in your arms. (How i wish men can experience this , ao they'll know the pain and joy 😂)
BREASTFEEDING
Both men and women do have breasts and nipples , but only women has a gift to feed their kids with a very special and nutritious food , Breastmilk ( since my 2 kids are papa's girl, sometimes i wish he could feed them too , so I can sleep more 😂)
GETTING A NEW LAST NAME BY MARRIAGE
After being married , women's last name is legally changed , but i think it's still up to her if she wanted to use it or not. (I specifically mentioned 'by marriage' because people are able to change their names in this technological time)
HAVE OPTIONS FOR BIRTH CONTROL
Women can choose between pills, injectables, IUD, implanon or other contraceptives so they won't get pregnant, but men can only use condom , to prevent their partner's pregnancy (Still a lot of sacrifices women have compared to men 😥)
Those are the only experiences that i can think of that is really impossible for men to experience but the rest of everything can be done by men too as women can . Whatever our status or gender is , we should not forget equality always , for we are all equally and perfectly made by the Greatest.
