A GED diploma is awarded upon completion of a GED test. The test is administered in English in numerous countries around the world. The GED can also replace TOEFL and IELTS and requires no speaking. A GED certificate demonstrates that the student has completed exactly the same educational requirements as an American or European high school student. A 16 year old passing a GED test can immediately begin applying for universities. This saves years of time as well as shields the student from dangerous elements of the public indoctrination system which has become little more than a halfway house for children. Public education at the high school level is neither necessary nor safe as the social environment breeds criminals as well as dumbed down sheep who are to be later fleeced by the bankers' tax system.
The educational cartels of today rely on accreditation as a form of licensing by which universities can command high prices and students can receive a relatively selective degree or certification. Accredited universities typically require a high school diploma or GED as well as completion of an SAT test. So only two tests stand in the way of an aspiring university student not four years of dumbed down public high school. Even a monkey could graduate high school by taking remedial classes in the US while higher level classes are reserved for students who need to be convinced that they are actually receiving an education rather than being system programmed in the bankers' matrix.

Choosing a university is often a difficult task for a student. However, the smart student who wants to avoid unnecessary costs and student dormitories can focus only on online degrees. Many high ranking universities offer on-line classes for a variety of majors. If education is actually education rather than a babysitter to watch (and brainwash) students while their parents work then of course the traditional way is better. But for a real student who only wants education and does not care about the rituals of sports, graduation, and proms, this method is the most affordable and convenient way. Furthermore, an on-line student can live anywhere in the world and may never actually visit the university campus from which they earn their degree.
The Final Step
Students should choose a bachelor degree with some market value. Women's studies, English, history, sociology, or anthropology are weak unless one plans to pursue a PHD in the field and needs these subjects as a prerequisite. It is much better to obtain a bachelor degree that has instant market value upon graduation. This would involve some technical knowledge rather than an ability to regurgitate "facts" and write opinionated essays which do little to strengthen ones skills in a modern economy.
To Pay or not to Pay
Students in Western countries often qualify for loans and scholarships. Interest on loans student loans is so low that a working student can probably save and invest their cash while earning a higher rate of return than that which is accumulated on the loan. Furthermore, student loans offer a wide variety of payment options such as income based repayment or no payment if the student cannot find a job. It may never be necessary to find a job if someone becomes familiar with crytpocurrency and leaves the bankers' system entirely earning just enough fiat currency to cover basic survival but building real wealth in crypto and precious metals.
