hello steemit friends.Today I will show you a church I visited some days ago!! It is the church of saint Nicolas at Georgioupolis of Crete. If you ever visit the Greek island you will notice that near the sea there exist churches of saint Nicolas because he isbthe protector of the sailors.This church at Georgioupolis is actually on the sea!!
In order to go there you must walk on the rocks for 5-10 minutes.the distance from the shore to the church is about 200 meters. A lot of couples worldwide are coming to ger married at this church cause it is very romantic but sometimes it is difficult to go there if the weather is windy because the waves are passing over the rocks.
I went there with my friend victoria and we light a candle for the saint!
