To all my Muslim friends from around the world. I understand that this time of the year is one of the most important events for all Muslims. It is the 'Chinese New Year' to Chinese but for the Muslims. I also understand that this year will be quite different on how different places would celebrate this festival because of how covid19 has changed how we live our lives. Already into 1 year+, the government in Malaysia has called for a lockdown just before the raya festivities were about to begin. Last night, I even watched a video how many Malay people were trying to sneak pass the interstate borders to get back to their homes for Hari Raya by using smaller roads and even the wrong side of the roads but unfortunately congesting the whole road.

For those who have decided to obey the lockdown rules, I applaud you as it is not easy not having to celebrate with your loved ones this year and for being a good and model citizen doing your duties to curb this pandemic. I hope that this year would be better despite whatever tough times you are in and that you'll be ultimately safe and healthy thoughout!
