Save our Nigeria for us
Being a Nigerian youth is being able to read with kerosene lantern, inhale soot all through the night just so you can pass WAEC, JAMB, and post UME then spend almost 7years to get a 5yr degree in a Nigerian University due to numerous strike actions, serve Nigeria in the remotest of areas where you know not what might become of you, and then come home to your pensioner parents because there are no jobs for the Nigerian youth.
Being a Nigerian youth means you're a survivor. You survive the death traps we have as roads to work everyday to earn "salary" while the politicians wait for your tax to loot at the end of the month.
Being a Nigerian youth is being able to work behind the counter in a bank while you studied Civil Engineering. Where do you want to work before? How many construction companies are there in Nigeria? How many refineries are there?
Being a Nigerian youth is being able to lay down your life to viral infections as you struggle to save the lives of your fellow Nigerians because the politicians left not enough money to equip the hospitals after they had shared the tax the Nigerian youth paid.
Being a Nigerian Youth alone is hard Mr President, only that your eyes have grown so dim that you could not see how hard they work, and I blame old age.
I am a Nigerian youth, I refuse to be called LAZY.
