Hello everyone who reads my blog.
Today I want to tell you about my first acquaintance with Warstein. 😅
On the first day, Mr. S. and I took care of the paperwork. At that time, all Ukrainians who came to Germany ended up in the social assistance service. Of course, Uncle Arthur went with us, because it is difficult here without the German language.
We arrived, we were registered with Uncle Arthur and Aunt Natasha. + we were given two papers of 30 euros for the first expenses.
- gave papers for medical care and dental care.
After that, we went to Telecom to get SIM cards for mobile phones.
+for Ukrainians there was a special promotion with unlimited internet and calls.
We did all this quickly, we just had to show our passports.
And then we went to Meshede - this is a city nearby. We did some shopping there. Because I was left without things. All my things are what was on me at that moment. These were huge uggs that I found in some store in Mariupol when they broke into stores. I was wearing sweatpants, a sweater and a jacket that I also found in the store.
You know, the first trip to the store in Germany, I will remember forever. It was scary! Lots of stuff, I didn't know what I needed because I didn't have anything. What to take now, what's the weather. You know, I think it's any girl's hell.)🤣😂
The funny thing is, everything I chose - everything was in the men's department. Because I don't really like women's clothes here. There are very few shops where you can find interesting women's clothing.
Then we walked around the city for a bit. Mr. S. went to the barber.
Thus ended our first day in Germany. It seems like a little, but at that moment everything seemed like that quest.
I'll tell you a secret. For another two months, I could not get used to the fact that I could not be afraid to walk the streets calmly and not be afraid that a bomb would fall.
But I still struggle with the fear of the sound of an airplane.
You can ask any questions in the comments, I will be glad to answer.
