I've been on a journey of self-development for a little under a year. listening to audiobooks, and taking courses. originally my plan was to become a certified professional photographer. it's crazy how much can change in less than a year. while looking around I found 3T Warrior Academy through that community I've learned a Ton!
one of the most frequently talked about concepts at the academy is vision boards. vision boards are important because they're a constant reminder of your dreams, positive thoughts, and other things to help direct your mindset. the most important part is that it's specific to the maker, and easily, and constantly visible. I have used a vision board, but due to my visual impairment, I felt I wasn't really getting the full impact of it. however, the other week I found this video 3 FREE Powerful Ways To Reprogram Your Subconscious the creator recommended virtual vision boards because they combine visual, auditory, and feeling learning. I love the idea, however, I wanted to do something that would remind me more regularly. that's why I'm trying these steps.
Ringtone
download file
one of the things i'm having trouble with is my laziness, and time management. i am working on bingeing youtube, and playing videogames less. to that effect, I created a ringtone of a ticking clock to remind me of well time, and how i'm utilizing it. i downloaded a cc ticking sound, and edited it in garageband (since that's one of the only ways to create ringtones in ios) and added a volume shift in to make it more pleasent to my ears. you can download a wav version of the sound above if interested. i also made an automation to play the sound, and display the notification "TIME IS TICKING!!!" when i open youtube, odysee, (check out my channel if you're on there) and the games i installed. I think it works pretty well.
Music Playlist
Check it out (links to Apple Music)
not much to say here. I just collected some positive, and motivational music, and made a playlist out of it that i try to listen to multiple times a day. if you have any recommendations for this i'm all ears. i also try to have songs that have an energizing instrumental, and good lyrics. I definitely recommend this for other auditory learners like myself. the idea for the ringtones actually came from one of the songs on the playlist.
that's all I have for now. please let me know what you think and if you have any ideas I can use to further implement this.i hope you guys have an awesome week!
