Racing By Execution Rocks Lighthouse at Dusk
With a New York City Skyline
Lately, I have been sailboat racing on Thursday nights with on his father's boat. The boat, 'Debbie's Diamond', is a racing vessel that took part in world renowned events back in the 1980's. It's docked at a Yacht Club in Mamaroneck, New York and participates in races each Thursday throughout the summer. The course sends us looping by Execution Rocks Lighthouse near New Rochelle. I took this photo as the sun was setting last week. A lit up Manhattan skyline contrasts the orange sky. The Empire State Building can be seen to the left of the lighthouse. A few boats in the spinnaker class are racing beyond the rocks.
