¡Hola de nuevo, amigos de la comunidad! Hoy quiero darle continuidad a la maravillosa experiencia que viví recientemente. Como les comenté en mi post anterior, tuve la oportunidad de asistir a una jornada hípica muy especial, y aunque ya les compartí algunos momentos, ¡todavía quedan personajes increíbles por mostrar!
Esta es la Parte 2 de esa salida, donde tuve el honor de coincidir con figuras que son pilares fundamentales de este deporte, tanto por su trayectoria histórica como por su talento actual.

John Velázquez no necesita presentación en el mundo del turf. Originario de Puerto Rico y miembro del Salón de la Fama, "Johnny V" es considerado uno de los jinetes más exitosos y respetados de todos los tiempos en la hípica estadounidense e internacional. Ganador de múltiples Kentucky Derbies, Breeders' Cup y dueño de estadísticas impresionantes, su nombre es sinónimo de maestría, longevidad y éxito en las carreras más exigentes del planeta.
Estar al lado de una leyenda como él fue un momento de mucho respeto. Lo que más me impactó fue su serenidad; transmite esa seguridad de quien ha dominado las pistas más difíciles. Se siente el peso de la historia en cada palabra que comparte.

Dylan Davis es una de las estrellas más brillantes del hipismo estadounidense actual. Consolidado como uno de los jinetes líderes en los exigentes hipódromos de Nueva York, como Belmont Park y Saratoga, Davis proviene de una familia con una rica tradición hípica. Su estilo de monta agresivo pero inteligente lo ha llevado a ganar cientos de carreras de grado y a posicionarse consistentemente entre los mejores del mundo.
Lo que más me gustó de este encuentro fue la sencillez. A veces pensamos que los jinetes con roce internacional son distantes, pero él me demostró lo contrario. Conversar con él te hace entender que el éxito no quita la calidez humana.

Hello again, community friends! Today I want to continue the wonderful experience I had recently. As I mentioned in my previous post, I had the chance to attend a very special horse racing event, and although I already shared some moments, there are still incredible people to show you!
This is Part 2 of that outing, where I had the honor of meeting figures who are fundamental pillars of this sport, both for their historical career and their current talent.

Meeting John Velázquez was, without a doubt, the pinnacle moment of this day. Standing next to a global icon of such magnitude is indescribable. I was struck by his professionalism and, at the same time, the simplicity with which he stopped to share with fans. He transmits the calm and class that have taken him to the top of the horse racing world. A true honor!
Being next to a legend like him was a moment of great respect. What struck me most was his serenity; he transmits the confidence of someone who has mastered the most difficult tracks. You can feel the weight of history in every word he shares.

Dylan Davis is one of the brightest stars in American horse racing today. Established as one of the leading jockeys at New York's demanding tracks, such as Belmont Park and Saratoga, Davis comes from a family with a rich horse racing tradition. His aggressive yet intelligent riding style has led him to win hundreds of graded stakes and consistently rank among the best in the world.
What I liked most about this meeting was the simplicity. Sometimes we think that jockeys with international experience are distant, but he proved me wrong. Talking to him makes you understand that success doesn't take away human warmth.
