Magandang buhay!
So yesterday's trip to the city was quite a whirlwind. We were there on Sunday morning (10 am), and we are back home at the wee hours of Monday (2:30 am), lol! That's because my sister had to be at work today, and my two nieces were attending a mini camp too. While we initially planned to spend the night at the capital, the hubby thought it would be better to take the road home at night because there won't be traffic. He was right. What took us 4 hours the previous morning, it only took 2 hours and 30 minutes during the night!
Anyway, the trip gave our lil boy some of his firsts. The mall visit made him wear his first diaper because they wouldn't let four-legged babies in if they weren't wearing a pad. And while there, he also experienced his first and quickest elevator ride. I know, we shouldn't be doing that, but I couldn't help putting him down for a short moment. Although excited, he behaved quite well.
He also had his first city tour at night, which he had not done during our past visits.
And got his first park entertainment too. There was a change of venue for my nephew's recital. Instead of the mall, the organizers used the city park, which is quite nice.
We took the seats about 20-30 yards away from the stage. What I didn't anticipate was the loud sound system, which bothered my little boy during the show (although he didn't complain; he hid inside my quilted bummer jacket). What a bad experience it must have been for him. He did enjoy the park walk afterward (me carrying him on my arms while we walked to the parking lot, lol!)
Weirdly enough, I only took a few photos of him during the trip. That's probably because I was often holding him. But yeah, he did have his first Tonkatsu meal (for lunch), and McDonald's fries and chicken for dinner.
And I should mention that before we left the mall, his wiwi (pee) ended up not on his diaper, but on the floor, haha! What a first that was, Yongi! We cleaned it up, of course :)
