Usually a Job Seeker has the problem of not wanting to display a given company or his/her last working company below the Headline, in a LinkedIn profile, because either current company does not fit search objectives & strategy or it is wanted to clearly signal the market that you are in active search mode.
Well, it happens that there is a hack for that:
Just proceed to create a new Entry in your LinkedIn Profile with the following information:
Position Title: What you are searching for ....
Current Company: "Actively seeking Job Opportunity for XYZ Location"
Date you started search - Current
That is all. Now your Key Data below your headline will clearly reflects your objectives & strategy.
