Litecoin is on a tear, almost doubling in the past 30 days. So what's next for the cryptocurrency?
Today Litecoin hit a high of $91.41, at Coinbase.com, with no end in sight.
So, what is driving up price? First, segwit has been activated allowing faster transactions, and lower fees. Second, Litecoin has recently been added to Japanese exchanges:

With the activation of segwit, fees are REALLY low compared to Bitcoin. We did some testing by sending $100 of Bitcoin, ETH, and Litecoin through different exchanges and wallets. The Bitcoin fees were about $5.00, and the Ethereum fees were almost a $1.00. Litecoin came in at under a quarter(.25c) and was faster than BTC and ETH.
So where is Litecoin headed? Well, in the past 3 months ETH has gone from the $150's to almost $400 today. Its market cap is $36 Billion. If Litecoin quadruples from here, it will be $360, and have a market cap of only $18 Billion, offering a faster and less expensive, to use, cryptocurrency.
