Early in the morning while the sun start to shine, many of the leaders are already fall in line. Sidapa is the one who gave advice to keep each place in peace.
There once a time that the Datu were not able to consult immediately and their leaders got a fight and if this will continue the result could be a war in each community.

If Sidapa can reconcile those Raha or Datu's that has a disagreement, she felt so much joy of happiness. She is so happy when she sees that they shared and respected each other. Sidapa believes that if there is war, there's no love. And if there is love, there's no war. Her always dream, is that everyone will talk and respect each other.
Since there are so many citizens, Datu and villages of every city. And for so many problems that were being presented to Sidapa, there must be someone to remind her often. And it is very important that somebody must wake her up early every morning to let her know that the Datu are already there to present their problems.
One of Sidapa's soldier presented his self to be her clock. It is his obligation to let her know that it is her time to eat, or it's her time to end a meeting. Or it's time for her to see other visitors, or it is time to make a decision in one problem. The most difficult duty for the clock soldier, is to wake up very early in the morning. In the first few weeks he wakes up so early in the morning. But if he had a chat with his comrades he barely a little late to wake up Sidapa.
The goddess was so patient, she always forgave the clock soldier. To keep it eagerly desire on his job, she increases his incentives in gold, clothes and foods for his family.
The clock soldier was very glad but he is too weak to stand. Just a small say of his comrades he then drink wine with them. Not just one or two shot of glass but a lot of wine to make him drunk.
Because of too much drunk, he even told a few soldiers of conflicting tribe some of the secret in a battle that should not be revealed. Sidapa was so angry. So many misunderstanding occurred because the clock soldier didn't wake her up early in the morning.
When the big bloody battle between the two huge villages push through, Sidapa summoned the clock soldier.
The clock soldier was very drunk when he presented herself to his goddess.
"You are the reason, why the bloody war happened, which can be avoided then."
"Plea..... please forgive me Goddess Sidapa."
"I have forgiven you for so many times! Many have died because of your negligence. You don't have indulgence. You let everyone to know the secret of war and peace. You never appreciated your obligation to wake me up early in the morning. As your punishment you will become a beast, you will do nothing but let the world to wake up every early in the morning!"
In just a blink of an eye, the clock soldier became smaller and smaller. Feathers appeared all over his body. The hands become wings, and his feet changed. Instead of talking, he crow and sound like a wake up calling.
In too much shame the clock soldier flew outside of Sidapa's home. Ever since then it was called rooster or (Tandang in Filipino). A rooster who crow early in the morning to remind us that he is the first clock soldier, in which his duty and responsibility is to remind and to let the universe wake up early in the morning.
