Here is my story, Did I say my story? Silly me.
Let's start again.
This is the story of Penny and Jade.
Four years ago my boyfriend saw in one of the expats forums (he is English and we live in my home country Bulgaria) that a home was wanted for two little dogs. Without hesitation my answer was yes, when he asked me if I wanted to help and provide home. We contacted the owner, who told us that due to finacial problems she could not look after her dogs and she looked for someone to take care of them. She told us how Penny was rescued dog and when she had her she did not know Penny was pregnant. After five years she struggled to keep the dogs and the cat. It was hard for her to part with Penny and Jade. Jade is Penny's puppy. She kept for herself Jade's sister.
I knew it would take time and patience and I was pleased that they got used to us quite quickly.
They simply become part of the family and we cannot imagine what our life would be without them.
Jade will turn 9 next month. As for Penny we don't know her age.
And since the summer is over we have to prepare for the cold winter.
