Mount Desert Island, Acadia Maine
Acadia is a magical place. It is one of the most visited National Parks in the U.S. receiving between 3-4 million visitors each year. One of the most spectacular towns in the park is Bar Harbor and when the tide goes out, you can walk across the sand bar to an island for a hike and a picnic... don't get caught though before the tide goes out again or you will spending the night!
