For those who aren’t aware, I run a business on the side of doing some consulting work.
Sometimes this can get annoying which is why I’ve scaled down the business over the last few years.
I only take certain projects that are quick and valuable for my time.
I honestly hate working on other people’s time frames!
That’s why investing has become so so important in living the life I want to lead!
When people call me, I have this saying:
Calling someone on the phone in today’s day and age is like showing up on their doorstep unannounced.
Do you feel the same?
When someone calls me it feels like an invasion of privacy to a complete degree!
I prefer texting and emails. Phone calls are reserved for family members or when a phone call is pre arranged - similar to if a family member showed up on my doorstep, it’s different than a friend or client.
And if a visit with a friend or client is prearranged then that’s totally fine.
Out of the blue phone calls just piss me off!
Am I weird or are there more people out there like me?
