This is my entry for the Looking for Niche LFNCOIN Giveaway!
My niche is creativity, mental wellness, and Montana!
I am only a month old here, so I am still trying to distill my main interests into a simple form...
I draw, make mini magazines (zines) and handmade books, love typewriters, make music, paint, create videos, write poetry, do performance art, etc. I thrive on being creative, and I enjoy sharing what my unique kind of creativity means to me. This post about zines is an example of of what zines are.
I hope to do video tutorials, and teach Steemians how to make zines! This could be fun for anyone who likes to make art or write, as a low-budget, simple way to share your work with your friends using real paper! :) Its also a really fun thing to do with kids, so Steemian parents might enjoy my tutorials as well.
Mental Wellness
I am a trained clinical therapist with a focus on community wellness. I'm very interested in how our own wellness impacts the greater good, and with how communities can uplift individuals. I haven’t shared much of that here yet, but topics/themes I enjoy are: positivity, self-improvement, connecting with nature, communication, emotional attunement, empathy, and nurturing our consciousness in general. I like to use creativity as a tool for mental wellness! So my interests overlap in that way.
Montana!
There are maybe 4 Montanans on Steemit ( but I am working on that!). I am planning to bring you our beautiful scenery and culture from this land that is part wilderness, part cowboy, part creative-hub. In addition to taking you on some tours, I want to feature the amazing artists and innovators I know here in Montana. Steemians will get a chance to learn a lot about our interesting community!
Community Development
I am ALSO a seasoned community project creator / developer / organizer. I have organized large events and community projects in my area. I would like to bring this knowledge to the Steem Platform as well! I do consulting work for this locally and would love to offer my services to Steemians and accept Steem for them. But I will also of course blog about this stuff, too. My knowledge might help others who are active in their local offline communities trying to develop projects or events.
Thanks for reading and thank you to for telling me about your giveaway! :)
Happy Steeming,
Xo
