I come from a high school with a shady background. Its ironically named after a man whom hated Mexicans lol, which is mostly Latino now. There were subtle forms of bullying, not like the ones you see on t.v. Bullying there consists of either petty theft, being challenged to fight, and that was pretty much it. Most people who didn't like each other stayed out of their ways. It was boring all in all. There were the occasional race related fights, minorities there hated each other. Mexicans would target Blacks. Blacks would jump Mexicans. The only racism I ever experienced in my 4 years there was never from the "institution", it was from other minorities. The curriculum they forced us to abide by was the shittiest way to teach kids who weren't interested. Believe it or not, students were actually interested in the sciences other classes that were somewhat relevant. No one enjoyed Art, or Computer Science, or Instruments. It was ok.
