That faithful day truly was the second time I was visiting Henry now at his office. He sent the address to me when I was at the junction close to my house waiting for a tricycle. The place he had his office was so easy to locate that even a blind man if well described for him could get there without difficulties.
When I got there, it was empty, and Henry was the only person in there. At first I got a bit nervous because the place was quite lonely as every has gone work, offices and children to their various schools and colleges. After a little thought, I walked gently inside the hall and met him pressing his phone. when he looked up and saw me ,I would say he gave me a standing welcome as he stood up and motioned me to a seat close to him. I sat down waiting for him to break the silence.
How are you he finally asked. am good and I can see you are too. his intense focused on his phone soon began to irritate me that I had to ask him what was so important with his chat and he laughed it over, later he off his data and now gazing at me .
We laughed ,chat and discussed so many things.he asked me some why I didn't pierce my ear,he asked about said and some other things.
My feeling for him were really strong and divine but I couldn't display my emotions without appearing cheap and disgusting more so when I have a reputation to protect which really was more important than my fondness for him.
I would say he was funny .he cracked me up for hours until it was time to take my leave. I have to be on my way now I said as I stood to my feet but surprisingly he held my hand strongly and looked at me directly in the eyes ...please don't go yet, I want you to spend more time with me and keep me company. I gazed at him and smiled .
Finally he is living up to expectation I reasoned. pls sit down he begged humbly as I sat down. I have been in love with you from the very first day I saw your pictures he said smiling. I stared at him coldly even though I was happy inside . I don't think what you said was possible I argued while trying to bring up a strategy that could make him divulge what he had in mind. I mean what I say he said emphatically. I dream and wish to have someone like you. am not trying to be funny I mean what am saying. I smiled at his words but never looked directly into his face because he was devouring me with his eyes as I was sitting down ,hoping he would make advances at me.
Oh mum sent me to make a deposit into someone's account and I have to leave before the bank closes. I lied to excuse myself because I was no longer comfortable the way he stared at me. when I finally got up to go, he called me back and demanded for a hug which I did shyly but in a Christian way(I hope you understand) bye hope to see you again he said as I took the exit door
