Ok one of the things I am about to try in my life is loving myself more. It's been said many times that if you can love yourself then you open yourself up to truly love other people.
I have been reading a short book called Love yourself like your life depends on it by Kamal Ravikant. In it there are 3 main excercises he does every day which are repeatedly saying to himself "I love myself". Looking into your own eyes in the mirror for about 5 mins or more a day and saying "I love myself" and doing a music meditation where he breathes in thinking "I love myself" and breathes out and notices any thoughts or feelings with that.
He does say ofcourse the more you can feel it and believe it then the more you will quicklier create a deeper groove which your mind will naturally flow with.
So I have tried this a bit on and off but I want to make myself accountable so I am going to post my progress on here and notice if and what changes occur in my life.
This is going to take commitment so it may also be a test of personal will and discipline as well. But to me the rewards seem completely worth it if I can increase the love for myself and then naturally for other people.
Thanks all and Merry Xmas!
