Marriage is the most sought after institution in the world. Race, age, religion, region, wealth isn't a barrier to marriage. Marriage is the official union between two people. Marriage used to be the process by which a man and woman make their relationship official and permanent, but that definition has changed. Marriage is even more than that now. The definition of marriage has been stressed to the limit.
What Is Marriage?
Marriage is simply the public union of people this days. I hear it's not limited to 2 people in some places this days. It's also not limited to a male and female. Could be two females or two males. People stay together for long and start calling themselves married. The meaning of marriage has definitely change, but has the essence changed? Do people marry for same reasons they did in the 1800s?
Living with someone has it ups and downs. It's heaven sometimes and hell sometimes too. The balance is what makes the difference. The heaven should always be more than the hell. Marriage is very important. It's the building blog for marriage. Marriage can be good or bad for you, depending on your experience. No one person can say marriage is good, or bad for all.
Marriage is good when you marry right. It is good when there is sacrifice. Marriage is good when God, who created marriage, is a part of your union. Love conquers all. When there is love, it makes things a bit easier. No matter the hard period you go through, when both partners keep the second greatest commandment*(love your neighbor as yourself), everything is sorted. Love is patient, it is kind, it is not boastful. Love sacrifices, and when there is love, you will have a good marriage.
Bad marriage is something, you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy. It can drive you to suicide. Marriage will be bad for you when you marry wrong. People often marry for the wrong reasons, and if you aren't happy with the person from the beginning, chances are the marriage will be same. When there is no love, you will have a bad marriage. Little issues will turn into great arguments. There will be no peace at the home. Nobody will want to compromise for the other and there will be no moving forward.
