Love is nourishment, given to you in a cup when you are born.
You can give it to who you want, and they can drink from your love — feel its warmth and sustenance.
At first, you give it to who’s close: your parents, siblings, and friends. And together (hopefully) you drink and feel loved.
As you live life, however, often we find ourselves giving our love to those who, in return, give us very little. This can make us feel overwhelmed, depressed, and depleted — like all your love has run out.
But fear not, those whose love has run low: there is a way to replenish it. You must drink from your own cup and nourish yourself — feel the warmth and sustenance you give to others; for the most important person we must love in this world is our self.
When you love yourself, you find passion, motivation, courage, and hope; only when you find these within yourself, can you truly begin to grow the love you can then start giving again to others.
L[U]VE Yourself.
