Today, I woke up in a big fluffy white bed, surrounded by the softest pillows ever, my room was a mixture of pink and purple colour, I could smell roses everywhere, I was in paradise.I walked up to the window, inhaled the beautiful scent of nature and life, it was beautiful...
On my window sill was a small bird, I smiled at it and I could have sworn it winked back at me. It flew away and in a second, it was back with a rose flower hanging from its beak.
I laughed and accepted the gift from this little creature and stretched my hand out to touch it, he jumped and perched on my finger. So I kissed it and whispered "Thank you".
And then the most amazing thing happened! I was caught in a downpour of glitter,stars and sparks and I couldn't see anything but shining lights and I could hear a strange love song playing in the back of my mind "what the duck is going on? ".
The glitter soon disappeared and there stood before me the most handsome Yoruba guy ever, clothed in probably the most expensive aso oke`(Yoruba native attire).
He winked at me. I knew immediately that this was my Prince Charming. He's come to take his bride! He whistled me away on his giant white horse to his palace where we would live happily ever after.
As we were riding off to our mansion, I was about to give the rest of the world my middle finger when the alarm started blaring in my ears,
I woke up and I realised I was not in any paradise. I was in my room, on my scattered bed, clothes and books everywhere.
I was back to reality. I have so much to do today! I was back to the hustle. I looked out the window, there was a white bird, this one was even eating my fresh pepper and onions I had left there to preserve them.
I grabbed my slippers and flung it at the stupid bird. It was 7:00am. My day had started.
