Good Afternoon Everyone,
This is one of those 'one off' posts, and not one that I like to write as it's to do with a very close relationship that I have 'Loved & Lost' .
Yesterday I lost my beloved cat. He made his way to heaven where I know he was greeted by my late Granny and his furry friend. I spoke with my late Granny the day before I knew he was preparing himself to leave me. I asked her to wait for him as he made his way up. I also told my cat that I had a word with my late Granny and that she will be waiting for him and all he has to do is look out for her. I said to him his furry friend will be waiting for him to play with too.
I'm glad he is in a safe and peaceful place, as much as it hurt me to let him go. He was in so much pain and I'm glad he is free from that. I haven't stopped crying. I had him from three months old and he left me at 15 years old. He is my life. I know people who don't understand or have that bond with animals like some of us do will say things like "He's just a cat", but no! He is family. Saying goodbye to him is like saying goodbye to a child. 'Love is Love' and I am well and truly heartbroken.
I am glad I gave him the best life I could possibly have. He was very much loved and adored by everybody. He was putty in anyone's hands. He was so caring and wasn't vicious in anyway. I loved it when he would sit next to me and snuggle up as I was typing, or when I would FaceTime my Mum. As soon as he heard the FaceTime tone he would come from any room, any windowsill and walk in front of the camera. He wanted to be the star of the show. He also used to trip you up as you were walking, sit so close to your face like he wanted to get inside your mouth and once, he once got my husband banned from a work group chat because he laid across the keyboard and was sending gobbledegook to the group. Naughty, but funny.
I loved him so much and I still do. My love for him will never go away or will be replaced. He has a special place in my heart that belongs to him and only him.
Until we meet again my baby boy. Say hello to your furry friend from me and her Mum and give Granny a big cuddle from me.
♥♥♥ I LOVE YOU ♥♥♥
