6 months and counting
After just celebrating being together six months (because the romantic in me likes to see that as something to celebrate), I can say with definite certainty, Gem is the girl for me. Through accepting one another and both our good and our bad aspects of our lives/personalities, to enjoying every moment spent together, life has been changed for the better by the other.
Never give up and stay positive as you can get that happy, wonderful life that you want/deserve.
^^ That is part of my new outlook on life as of last year and it has been bringing happiness to my life.
What we did
Gem picked me up as I would be staying at hers that night, and I couldn't take the car myself. We headed to Marion shopping centre where it started off at annoyance due to how many people there were, how many cars in the car park, about twenty minutes to find one but a close park and shaded we got. Next was lunch and we got Oporto's because the chicken they use is THE BEST, and we both love them.
Finally we headed to the movies for what was about a twenty five minute line-up to get our tickets as when it's stinking hot (41 degrees celcius), people with less cooling in their house like to get to the shopping centre. While waiting for The Commuter to start we chilling in the game arcade and played a few games.
The Commuter was a pretty good movie, Liam Neeson played his role well along with a great setup into the main plot of finding that one person someone says doesn't belong, which for him as an ex-cop, was a lot easier than others.
We were going to stargaze that night, but it was getting late as the stars were starting to come out, both too tired, so that is kept to another night. But it was an amazing day in general and I am so lucky to have someone so amazing.
