Well it's time to jump into Season 2 of Love Island. I have never watched a season of Love Island, so I am a Love Island virgin and have no idea what to expect.
I was really thrown off by the immediate coupling. Seems like a strange way to start things off and then I was surprised by how much most of the people stuck to those couples, especially when only two women stepped forward to say they were attracted to any of the first five guys that came out. Even our sixth guy Johnny really didn't seem like he wanted to step on any toes when he came out like 30 seconds after the first ten people.
End of the episode we have 5 couple and then Tre stuck all by his lonesome. Really I'd only say that James and Moira seem like a couple, everyone else is just a bunch of singles forced together. There could be some connections there but after night one I'm not thinking so. Connor and Mackenzie weren't terrible together but I get the vibe that Mackenzie will jump ship if a better option comes along. Rest of the couples really don't have any sort of romantic connection at all.
How about Justine at the end of the episode tonight when Jeremiah got invited to a secret jacuzzi date with a new girl? She was throwing some daggers his way because it happened right after Justine and Jeremiah had a conversation about giving their relationship a shot, that didn't last long.
There is a pretty good companion app for the show that you can grab. This is how the voting is going to be done for the show but it seemed like they were having some issues with getting people registered tonight. Beyond voting, there is a bunch of other content on there like playing tinder with the contestants and rating the hottest guys and girls. Should be fun for anyone about to get addicted to the show.
I think this is going to be on like every night for the next six weeks so I guess I'll see you all again tomorrow.
