Saludos Steemians! Soy Joseph Fermin, Venezolano, tengo 55 años, nacido en la ciudad Capital y actualmente residido en la ciudad de Cumaná, estado Sucre. Desde muy joven me ha apasionado la música, de hecho, mi primer instrumento es el contrabajo, he tocado para diferentes orquestas del país a lo largo de mi carrera y conocido diferentes partes del mundo con mi arte. Tambien tengo una banda de salsa! con la que he tenido diferentes presentaciones alrededor del territorio nacional. Otra de mis grandes pasiones es la Lutheria, el bello arte de crear instrumentos, me especializo en instrumentos de cuerda tales como; Violin, Viola, Cello, Contrabajo, Guitarra, Mandolina y por su puesto el hermosisimo "Cuatro" Venezolano. Tengo mas de 35 años de experiencia trabajando para el Sistema Nacional de Orquestas y Coros Juveniles e Infantiles de Venezuela como luthier y musico. Actualmente, desempeño mis actividades de lutheria en mi taller en Cumaná. Ademas de dedicarme principalmente a la fabricación de instrumentos, tambien hago reparaciones, adaptaciones e incluso trabajos personalizados.
Greetings Steemians! I am Joseph Fermin, Venezuelan, I am 55 years old, born in the Capital City and currently residing in the city of Cumaná, Sucre state. Since I was very young I have been passionate about music, in fact, my first instrument is the double bass, I have played for different orchestras in the country throughout my career and known different parts of the world with my art. I also have a salsa band! with which I have had different presentations around the national territory. Another of my great passions is the Lutheria, the beautiful art of creating instruments, I specialize in string instruments such as; Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Guitar, Mandolin and of course the beautiful "Cuatro Venezolano". I have more than 35 years of experience working for the National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras and Choirs of Venezuela as luthier and musician. Currently, I perform my lutheria activities in my workshop in Cumaná. In addition to devoting myself mainly to the manufacture of instruments, I also make repairs, adaptations and even personalized works.
