Yet as parents, from time to time we lie to our children. The Santa Claus and the tooth fairy are the first examples of these lies. We adorn lies, cute stories and pleasant experiences; but in the end all lies.
Lying is a bad thing to say; we all know that.
But the biggest lie I've ever told my children is not with the fairy tales, the lies we shine. Simple, simple, and only a two-word lie.
Imagine, you're preparing food; Your children are screaming, Mom! Eat! You tell them it's almost over. But in fact, 10 minutes to prepare the meal, about 20-30 minutes to cook, to cool for another 5-10 minutes to wait.
But we're not talking about it. We're lying.
You start crawling your little girl's hair; Trying to get rid of you. You say you're almost done, even though you've just started a troublesome job. It is a matter of struggle in itself to solve the nodes of the hair and try to remove the hair from the last ones. Their fidgeting, controversy, and attempts to flee are guaranteed to take a little longer.
But we're not talking about it. We're lying.
