This part will be dedicated to my all times favorite The Dragon Flies
So without further ado - eyes first 👁️🗨️
This is the female of the crimson red dragonfly,
Yes yes I know it's yellowish orangy but the males are crimson red even at the wings.
You can notice it has a crooked wing, but worry not my friends, this lil' fellow is a fierce hunter and got supreme eye sight.
In each of it's two eyes it has 29,000 lenses that present her with an amazingly accurate picture of the world.
How do you buy contact lenses for so many lenses in your eyes?😋
Here you can see the male resting on a dried water plant stick
Because of its crooked wing I was able to take a lot of close up shots
The dragonfly is considered to be the fastest insect in the world.
It has been 300 million years that the dragonfly has not changed and is considered one of the oldest animals in the world.
In the coal era there were giant dragonflies in the world, whose wings were about 70 centimeters in diameter.
Enjoy!
