Walang sangit is an insect most hated by farmers, especially rice farmers. The plant fluid-sucking insects from the flower stalk and also the young rice fluid in the cooking stage of the milk, causing crops to lack of rice and even crop failure. This insect also emits a stinging scent to protect itself against attacks of various threats. I found walang sangit (Leptocorisa acuta) behind my house.
